We have all been there. Standing in front of our closet, clothes strewn about, frustrated that you have absolutely nothing to wear, nothing looks good on you and everything just feels uncomfortable. But don’t worry, below are 3 tips for when you have absolutely no idea what to wear.
1. Throw on Boyfriend Jeans
As you all know, boyfriend jeans are a huge closet essential for me. I wear them all the time and have styled many pairs on my blog ( see my personal favorites Here, Here & Here ). When you have absolutely nothing to wear ( and when sweatpants seem like a good idea ) you know that by throwing on a pair of boyfriend jeans you will automatically look on-trend and feel oh so comfortable.
2. Stripes, Stripes, Stripes
Remember when I said that this was my first striped shirt ( see the post Here! ) Well ever since then I have become OBSESSED with anything that has stripes! I cannot stop wearing the classic striped shirt, see some examples of how I style them Here, Here & Here. What is so great about a striped shirt, whether is be a t-shirt or a button up, is that it is such an effortless piece that you know will always look great. Pairing stripes with boyfriend jeans is a no-fail, timeless look.
3. Wear Something “On Trend”
My third tip of the day is to wear something ‘on trend’. For instance, this season the Gladiator Sandal is a big trend and have styled them on my blog Here, Here & Here. So in order to pull this look together, while also adding my own touch to this classic look, I added on the ‘on trend’ gladiator sandals. By adding something ‘on trend’ to a staple outfit you show that you are not just wearing this outfit because you saw a few other stylish girls wearing something similar. It shows that you have a sense of style and know how to piece together a unique look just for you.
