Banana Maple Granola Recipe

recipe2 [276667]You guys should all know by now that my love of Oatmeal is real. Sadly, however, with school starting back up I just don’t have the time in the morning to make it. And I prefer not to use microwaves. So in order to satisfy my oatmeal craving I have created this fairly healthy and simple granola.

Serves 8 ( 1/2 cup serving size )

  • 3 Cups Rolled Oats
  • 1/4 Cup Pumpkin Seeds
  • 1/2 Cup Sunflower Seeds
  • 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1/4 Cup Pure Maple Syrup
  • 1 Small-Medium Banana, Mashed
  • 1 Tsp Cinnamon

  1. Combine rolled oats, cinnamon, pumpkin seeds & sunflower seeds in a bowl & mix
  2. Combine olive oil, mashed banana, & maple syrup into a bowl & mix together
  3. Combine the wet & dry ingredients together, then spread onto a baking sheet
  4. Place in oven at 350’F for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown ( about half way through I stir the granola so it will cook evenly )
  5. Let cool and enjoy with yogurt, milk, fresh fruit or as a tasty little snack
