It’s almost April and I woke up to a large dusting of snow. I’m not the least bit happy about this turn of events but I’m trying to stay positive because I know that Spring is just around the corner…hopefully!
Good morning and happy Monday everyone! I hope you all had an amazing weekend!
Today I want to share with you all the newest addition to my wardrobe: these beautiful Nude Sandals I picked up recently at Geox. Now if you have been reading this blog for a while then you know how much I love Geox, their comfortable and breathable shoes are a must for those hot summer days, so when they asked if I would be interested in reviewing a new pair of shoes of course I said yes! I chose the Audalies Sandal as I don’t really have any high heels in my wardrobe and I thought the change would be nice. First off: let me just say that I am very impressed with the fact that I can actually walk in these (as you all know by now I tend to stick to the flat shoe variety). I’m not an expert when it comes to judging heeled shoes but all in all I am very impressed with them! The heel is thicker making it easier for me to walk in, plus I find them comfortable and they do not make my feet hurt after walking in them. Some shoes I find dig right into the heel of my foot, making it almost unbearable to walk, and these have not done that yet! I would definitely recommend them to anyone in the market for a new pair of heels!

I was never a girly girl, but I just couldn’t pass up the opportunity to have a Cinderella moment in this PleatedSkirt that is just perfect for twirling in. I paired it with a simple Grey Knit and some Grey Heeled Sandals for a more dressed up look that would be perfect for a weekend brunch on a chilly Sunday morning.
Wednesday was the official start to summer, and the weather decided to turn cold, cold, cold on us here in Alberta. It has been nothing but wind, rain and cooler temperatures this past week, a dramatic change from the +30 we were experiencing earlier this month. But I am trying to maintain a positive outlook, at least the trees will be super green and the flowers extra pretty from all the rain. Today I am keeping it cozy with an oversize Pink Cardiganthat I paired with a Simple Striped T-Shirtand my new Black Skinny Jeansfrom Levi’s. To complete the outfit I added on myRebecca Minkoff Pink Feed Bag ( I’m all about that matchy matchy life ) and my most comfortable Ankle Boots from Thursday Boot Co.
The easiest way to cheer a girl up is to buy her a bouquet of beautiful flowers, am I right? So this special delivery courtesy of the wonderful people behind Them Blooms put me in the best mood I had been in all week! I mean look at how gorgeous those peonies are! Thank you so much Them Blooms for sending me a bouquet of flowers, you truly made my week :)
Simple summer style, that what I’m all about! Mixing dressy with causal is always a go-to for me! Pairing these beautiful Floral Print Shorts from Bluenotes with a casual, laid back Yellow Sweatshirt from Brandy Melville equals the perfect combination! With the addition of the Old Skool Vans you have an outfit perfect for catching up with friends at a coffee shop or for a day spent exploring out in the summer sun!
I am a firm believer in treat yo self, so when I finished my first semester of University the other week I decided it was time to buy these beautiful sneakers. I searched high and low but for the life of me I could not find those Blush Pink Adidas Gazelles in my size! So I decided to take the matters into my own hands and design my own Adidas Superstars with the customization feature on their website.
Below I have provided the link to the customization feature as well as a few similar styles I am totally in love with!
